Weather/Rainout Policy

• Field closures are determined by the Town of Collingwood, not by the league.
• If the Town closes the fields due to rain or unsafe conditions, CMBA will send out membership-wide email as soon as possible notifying all teams that fields are closed.
• If there has been no notice from the Town of Collingwood, fields are considered open. In these cases, it is up to each coach discretion to decide whether to proceed with or cancel a practice or game based on current weather and field conditions.
• We ask that all teams use their SportsHeadz App chat to communicate last-minute updates directly to players and families.
• Whenever possible, rainouts should be called at least two hours prior to game time to give families adequate notice.
